Subs for the new season

Just to clarify that the subs for the new season are £85 per player. This will be collected towards the end of August/early September and cheques should be made payable to "Leckhampton Rovers FC".

We set out in June to hold open training sessions with a view to taking two squads to the Cleeve Tournament, there would then be some difficult decisions to make regards recruitment for the new season.

Losing both Callum and Will D at the end of the season meant recruitment was essential but then losing Dan to an injury for much of the start of the season meant we would be three players down. Balancing recruitment against the maximum permitted squad size/subs (which is 11 players and 5 subs) means that we need to constrain the squad in the interests of being able to play the lads that we have. We have recruited 3 new players for the coming season. Finn re-joins us after a season chasing eggs, he is joined by Ryan and Taylor from Highnam for whom their loss is our gain.

There were unfortunately lads that were disappointed by this decision in Lewis and Marlowe. Lets hope that they find other teams to play for as they showed the right appetite, ability and desire to play.

As we move to U15's the squad for next season will be....
