We are very pleased to confirm that after negotiations long into the night we have signed Will Tunnicliff in time to make his debut in tomorrow's league match. With interest from Belgium, Kosovo and at the last minute Turkey there were some tense moments before he finally put pen to paper.
Catching up with him after signing he said "it was a dream come true" and that he has always supported Leckhampton even before he could walk and talk. There were bigger offers on the table but as he said "when you bleed green there's only one club you can play for" - on hearing that he bleeds green we dispensed with the need for a medical instead opting for a slap on the back and welcome to the club. (That appearing to be what Real Madrid did with Gareth 'herniated disc' Bale).
Will is a quality signing for the team and a familiar face to all the lads.
