1st March - League Cup Semi-Final

Sunday we have the league cup semi-final against fellow Division 1
team, Charlton Rovers Blues. We have played them already this season
in the league where we won 3-1 with a Jorge hat-trick. More than that
it was an excellent squad performance.

This will count for very little as in a one off game with a place in
the final at stake there is nothing and everything to lose. Make no
mistake that we will have to be at our best.

This is a home fixture that will be played at Naunton Park with a 2pm
kick-off. Let's meet at 1:15pm to set-up the pitch etc. the weather
forecast looks a little lively over the next few days so the may be a
pitch inspection required. I will ensure that this is done and any
issue communicated much sooner than 1:15 like it was this past week!
If you hear nothing then assume the fixture is on!

We have a full squad for this game as follows. In a game such as this
the squad will be managed with the aim of achieving the result that
sees us through to the final. We will as always endeavour to get all
lads involved but our approach in this game will be about the result.

Tommy has to wait a further week before being eligible to make his
debut as to play in the cup competition players must have played in
three games for the team previously. We are also without George who is
still recovering from his ankle injury.
