The January transfer window may have closed but that does not mean
that there is no value out there. Quality players available on free
transfers. Sami Khedira is available for free this summer, so too Dani
Alves. A bit closer to home LRFC Cougars have signed Tommy Callinan
from, the other side of Cheltenham.
Tommy used to play for LRFC some years ago lining up for the Panthers
at the time. Since then having not played in Qatar nor the MLS he
played for the Churchdown team that swept all before them last season.
This is an excellent signing for the team and gives us more options as
we move into the business end of the season and the exertions start to
take their toll.
I am sure that everyone will join me in welcoming Tommy to the team
when he, hopefully, will be available to make his debut on Sunday.
